My Mission in Life

Being a student, my mission is to study, not just for the sake of studying and to finish but studying HARDER. I am studying not just for myself but I’m doing it for my country and for God to be glorified. I have a lot of competitors in the classroom but there's a lot more, the foreign students in other countries. Being a Filipino, we are programmed to excel. I have to expand my thoughts because if not, I might be a failure,. I know it's normal to fail but if I fail, I won't give up because if I would do that how can I give honor to my country? How can I represent my country in the world if I will give up and not to stand up any longer? Other countries treat the Filipinos badly because as what they knew and seen, Philippines is a "nation of servant". I don't want to treat the Filipinos in that way because it really breaks my heart. I want to prove to the world that the Philippines will also rise and not all Filipinos are lazy, mediocre, know nothing but rather Filipinos will be known as excellent and hardworking people. I stand firm to that because I'm a Filipino and I have a mission to serve my country well through studying and to love my country and the people as well. Of course I can't change my country in just a snap of a finger but I have to change myself first before I can change my country. How can we change our country if we are not changing as well? How can we love our country if we don't love our family or the person beside us? Just like that. We have to start in small things because there will come a time we will realize that they were big things. I'm telling this to the whole world strongly because I am really burdened for my country and for my fellow Filipinos because I love my country and I love the Filipinos too. Just what Jose Rizal loved our country He loved our country so much that He even died for our country to show that the Filipinos are worth fighting for; I admire so much our national Hero because he really excelled in his fields to show to the world that the Filipinos are clever and not idiots, we should look up to our national Hero and be like Him. He never ashamed of our race instead he was proud. He was diligent in his studies for short he really gave honor and glory to the Philippines. He fought for it until his last breath. As a Filipino i am not ashamed of my race and I’m proud to say that I'm a true Filipino. We should be as good as Jose Rizal. Our mission is to follow his footstep. We have to stop copying from other countries and admire them to the extent that we will be like them. We are influenced by western countries that’s why we act like them, we even talk like them and live like them. We don’t have any originality at all. The Philippines has no trademark because we keep on copying. I hope someday Filipinos will wake up and soon they will love the Philippines and be proud that they are born to live as a Filipino. I think that is my mission.
