My Adventure life story :)

I’m going to tell you a story, my ever adventurous story. I’m not going to force you to read my story but if you are interested you are free to read it. =)

After I graduated in high school, I had been praying to enter a military academy. I went through sufferings and hardship and of course I really had to keep my faith in God strong. God let me went through such things because he tested me if I do really trust him. Entering a military academy was really a challenging part for me because I sacrificed so many things for that. I wanted to join military academy because I wanted to discipline myself. I wanted to know how to handle my life because I wanted to make a difference. After being challenged by God, God answered all my prayers. Finally I was able to enter the military school.

Before anything else, we were oriented first and underwent certain processes. When the day came, it was Sunday and all the cadets were gathered to attend the Sunday service. We attended the service first so that we will be recognized and be prayed by our pastor. It was an awesome day for me because I was really excited to be punished by the PMA officers. Hehehe. After then, the service had ended we went straight to the training area. Of course at first all the cadets don’t know each so we didn’t have much to talk and knowing each other because when we were in the bus we were all so tired and hungry. Prior to that, when we were oriented the host arranged us to its own group and buddies. I had no idea about this but I was excited to know my buddy’s life. When we were in the bus, we talked a little while but we slept after then.

It rained so hard and we expected to rest for a while after the trip but unfortunately our expectation didn’t happen because the officer shocked us. We had a SHOCKED TRAINING!!!!!. That was really a shocking moment for all of us. The officers gave us a little time to prepare to change clothes. Guess what??? They gave us only 10 seconds to change our clothes from saya to military wear. That was horrible because my luggage was not in my room but it was in the boy’s room. So I had no choice but to borrow clothes from other luggage without any permission from them. They said we must wear black t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes but unfortunately, I wore white shoes and got punished. Why? Because my entire luggage were in the boy’s room. That was funny though. =)

Every day we must wake as early as 4 am to prepare for training. It was hard for me because I was not really used to it because I usually wake up late morning. But then I had to do it in order for me to be disciplined. The training was really hard we had to force ourselves to the limit where we can know how far we can go as an individual. Pushing myself to the limit was really a challenging for me because I grew up contented for who I am and not knowing that I can do better far from anything I usually do as a teenager. And I thanked God for letting me know that I can do all things because he keeps on strengthens me.

Having been enrolled to a military school was an adventurous moment that I had as a human being because it molded me as an individual to be disciplined as well as to be a well rounded person. I hope every Filipino especially the young people should undergo such training like this because we need young people who have the vision to change the country and the people. And that’s all. I hope you have learned something here in my life journey.

An Inspirational Story

The main message of the story is no matter whom you are or what are you even though you feel you are lacking with many things we really have to love life. We are becoming helpless because we feel we are not important but we must realize that we must be a blessing to everyone. The story tells us that life must go on. Problems are trials that we must to face in order for us to be strong. We must not own it. We must face it knowing that we will be victorious in the end. I am so inspired by the nick’s story. Because he let himself do what others can do despite his own disabilities. He handles his life with courage and hope that he doesn’t consider himself as a helpless poor one but instead he continues living a life as if he has complete body parts. He became an inspiration to everyone. If he can do it, we can do it also. Everyone can be an inspiration if we let ourselves be an inspiration too.

Maturity

Maturity is a term used to look to how the individual respond in all the circumstances and challenges that are needed to face. It is awareness where an individual must learn how to act in situations and the culture he lives in.

Accountability

Markedly it is the obligation of an individual to be accounted with the things that affect him. To take responsibilities and duties especially in money matters.

Discipline

Certainly discipline is one of the virtues that one individual must possess. It is one way to respect other people and follow their instructions. In fact discipline has a way for us to be respected. Disciplining ourselves makes us a well rounded person

#5 Hong Kong Experience

Having been to a beautiful place was a privilege and an opportunity for me. Being learned and taught in their native language was really enjoyable and fun to do. I was so blessed to be part of my singing group under our church because I was able to go to a very beautiful and well-disciplined place called Hong Kong. It was a 2-week trip and I got to roam around and visit the whole city. The itinerary of our trip was actually to sing. We sang in different churches, schools, parks and even companies. I got to know more new people who were really pleased with the songs that we prepared for them. The schools there are really nice also their students, the students were really approachable and friendly. As a tourist there, most of the time you have to really limit yourself from being used to your own ways as a Filipino because you might be judged by the way you walk, talk, etc when you are with those Chinese people. So we should really act properly as if we are already citizen there.

I learned a lot from the people in Hong Kong because they are really disciplined and respected people. Here in the Philippines time is not really important but there, when they tell you that you have to be in the meeting at exactly 8:00 SHARP, you have to be there otherwise you might be scolded. It’s nice because it’s a challenging role for all of us because we are learning from their culture that really helps to change our own perspective in life also as a human being. I was not used to it but I learned a lot. That’s the only thing that really matters.

We exposed ourselves as a singing group to be able to learn how to face different people. It was kind of hard because every day I have to wake up in the morning just because of the appointment that we need to sing for the students, old ones, etc. when we got there the host already scheduled us what we are going to do, where to sing, and where to eat. Our group was always in a hurry because we have to always remember that the time there is really gold. We were always in a rush; we always run and of course always practice our pieces. As a member of the group, I really had to be flexible in order to easily cope up with them because of being the youngest. I always had to respect them because they are the old ones. I always follow them whatever happens. They were times that we had conflicts, arguments, problems and cold wars and I think it’s normal, it usually happens this anywhere or I may say to anybody. When there are times like this come, as a group we should find time that we need to plan for a meeting in order to fix the problem. And because of that we built a strong foundation. I was so amazed with all the things that happened in my life. As a youth I am really blessed by God. And by the way we had 46 performances in just two weeks. And with that I end. J

#4 The Dead Communicating with the Living

I haven’t experienced communicating with the living yet but my Mom had an experience and it was her unforgettable experience. Her experience was really horrible and when she told me that, I really couldn’t sleep and kept on imagining the story. We know that there are different ways sometimes the souls show. Some are bad and some are not. My mom told me if someone experiencing those things it means that God is not with you because you don’t trust Him and you are really afraid. I believe that dead people are communicating with the livings. For me, the reason is, we know many people are mourning with their dead love ones, in order to release the pain maybe God let the soul show for them not to be desperate and depressed. It is just my thoughts and I am not really sure about this. I heard a lot of stories from my relatives and even with my family. That’s why no doubt it happens really true. But other people said that it is the devil that shows dead souls to the living in order them to be scared and kill them with high blood. That’s why many people are dying with the experiences like this. I never had an experience but I really believe that the dead is really communicating with the living.
